Dance an Art form

Dancing can be defined in so many ways. On a personal note, dancing to some people is the movement of their body, to some it is the expression of happiness and to others it is the expression of emotion. This art form though to some people may not be an art form not realising the gift that lies within has evovled so much and is as ancient as music, as dacing is the movement to music.

Dancing in the South Pacific is the telling of a story through the movement of the body. The choreography narrates the morals and secrets of Old. It is also the expression of happiness, as there are dances of Celebration and entertainment in functions like weddings and others 'get-togethers' of joy.

Dancing in expression choreograhed with narration is purposed to convey what the artist is intending to crossover from the movement to the eyes of the beholder, then to their soul where the message was intended to set.

In Christian Dance the sole purpose of the dance is to preach the message of the Cross. To move in such an inspiring way that not only leaves the on looker to admire but also to desire to know more about the message that is embedded within the choreography. For that one moment in the heat of the music, the lyrics and the movement, the heart of worship draws the Spirit to touch the lives of people.
